In 1971, Roy Bonisteel decided to move his family from the city back to th ecountryside of his youth. When he did, the memories began flooding back. Captures those reminiscences of simpler times with gentle humour. Author's signature and inscription upon half-title page. Please note: to look at the exterior of this book you might think it to be in near fine condition. Unfortunately the pages have been exposed to considerable moisture. While the staining is light and no pages are stuck together, there is now some waviness to the pages and they are a little stiff. Still a lovely book with wonderful scraperboard illustrations by Glass.
