Signed and inscribed by Carroll Quigley upon half-title page in black marker, dated 1974. 1348 pages. Index. No dust jacket. "Shows the years 1895-1950 as a period of transition from the world dominated by Europe in the nineteenth century to the world of three blocs in the twentieth century." - from dust jacket (not included). Most notable for its revelation of plans for a global government, based upon Quigley's access to secret archives. Author mentored Bill Clinton at Georgetown. Clean with light wear. Binding sound. Unmarked but for incidental 1/4" ball pen mark to page 105. Prior owner's bookplate inside front board. Although this copy satisfies many points of being a first printing, our research suggests it may be a bootleg reprint, circa 1974, therefore we offer it as such. Reprint or not, signed copies of this landmark work are exceedingly scarce.

Price = 7500.00 USD
